supported platforms and browsers

supported platforms
Microsoft Windows XP (SP1 and SP2), and Windows 2000 SP4 and later are the only operating systems supported by UITT.

UITT cannot be accessed from the Macintosh Operating System. Macintosh users may use Virtual PC to access UITT, however this has not been fully tested for the UMN installation.

supported browsers
Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher and Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0_02 are the only supported browsers for UITT.

what is the dashboard?
The Dashboard is the front page to UITT. It gives users easy access to view, organize, and manage requests in the Demand Management module.

what is a portlet?
A Portlet is a filtered view of requests in the Demand Management module. There are a variety of preconfigured portlets to choose from, and in some cases, portlets can be personalized.
