picture of a push pinwhat's new in Microsoft Office 2007

Planning to upgrade to Microsoft Office 2007? You can explore what's new by taking our hands-on MS Office Overview short course.

Or, if you're short on time, you can watch an on-demand MS Office Overview at your convenience.

did you know that you can write on a PowerPoint slide in the middle of a presentation?

Add some sparkle to your next presentation by using the pen tool.

To turn on the pen tool, press alt-P (hold the alt key while pressing the 'P' key) while you're in slide show view. Then you can do all the doodling on your slide you like by dragging with your mouse. But keep in mind the pen tool is only temporary - once you head on to the next slide, your writing is gone. If you goof up, no worries, just press your 'E' key, and the pen will be erased. When you want to switch back to the safe mouse arrow just press alt-A.

Don't forget to practice with the pen tool before using it in a live presentation!
