fill a selection

Try these handy keyboard commands for filling selections:

To fill a selection with the current foreground color, press Alt + Backspace (Windows) or Option + Delete (Macintosh).

To fill a selection with the current background color, press Ctrl + Backspace (Windows) or Command + Delete (Macintosh).

crop an image

To see the hidden crop tool handles, choose View > Fit On Screen.

To crop pixels that extend beyond the image border on layers, choose Select > All and then Image > Crop.

selection marquee

To move the selection marquee while you drag out a shape, hold the spacebar.
