    notes from past meetings

Notes from past User Group meetings are available:

    2005-2006

    2004-2005

These handouts are provided for departments who wish to conduct their own training for their content providers.

    Introduction

    Modifier/Writer Handout

    FileNet Terms

    Quick Reference for:
       Modifier Role
       Writer Role

Note about handouts : We use these handouts in our Content Provider class. They are based on the following two scenarios:

    1. Modifier: A content provider who needs to format, edit, or add content to existing pages using the Site Tools.

    2. Writer: A content provider who does all that the Modifier can do, but who also needs to create and deploy new pages using the Administration Panel.

Since expectations for content providers can vary greatly depending on how a site is set up, our goal has been to provide general training that covers the most common needs. Our hope is that each group can then supplement our class with their own training on things unique to their site.
