The University of Minnesota offers faculty, staff, and eligible graduate students access to Adobe Breeze through a Breeze Account. Breeze can be used to create content for the web and to facilitate communication, collaboration, and teaching and learning over the web through web conferences and webcasts.

Students at the University of Minnesota can access online Breeze content and participant in web conferences and webcasts. Students are also able to download Breeze Presenter and publish presentations locally.

Note:While it is possible to play-back Breeze presentations on both the Macintosh and Windows platforms, Breeze Presenter 5 is only available for PowerPoint for Windows (Microsoft PowerPoint 97, 2000, 20002, 2003).

system requirements
System requirements are included in the FAQ pages at http://breeze.umn.edu/support/index.htmls.

The Breeze system has two major components:

Breeze Presenter
With Breeze Presentation, faculty and staff can personalize PowerPoint presentations with audio narration and deliver them through any standard web browser.

Breeze Meeting
Breeze Meeting enables faculty and staff to conduct online courses and meetings right from their desktop computers. During an online meeting, presenters in a meeting can display content such as graphics and presentations, broadcast audio and video, interact using chat and whiteboard tools and gather real-time feedback through polls.
