WebVista 4: Instructor Tasks

This course is for University of Minnesota faculty and instructors who will be using WebVista in their teaching and would like to learn how to manage typical tasks they will face over the course of a semester. No prior knowledge of WebVista is required.

This learning opportunity is currently available as a series of short online presentations.

Topics include:

  • requesting a course site
  • adding members to a site
  • granting access to students and teaching assistants
  • directing students to support resources
  • grading discussion postings, assignments, and assessments
  • entering grades and releasing them to students
  • preparing for transitions between semesters
  • utilizing support resources for instructors

Prerequisites

Familiarity with using a web browser.

Platform

This course focuses on using WebVista 4 via a supported web browser.

Fees

This online course is available at no charge.
