UMCal: Orientation

This course introduces University of Minnesota faculty, staff, and students to UMCal, the University's Oracle-based calendaring system now available campus-wide. UMCal facilitates collaboration among individuals and departments by providing a common calendaring system.

Topics include:

• using UMCal as a personal calendar
• scheduling meetings with other users
• creating a to-do (task) list
• using available support and training resources
• obtaining conversion and synch tools

Prerequisites

None.

Platform

This course focuses on using the Oracle desktop clients to access UMCal.

This online course is available at no charge. Custom face-to-face sessions can be arranged for a fee.
