SafeAssign: Orientation

This course introduces University of Minnesota faculty and course designers to SafeAssign, a feature of WebVista that checks for originality within a submitted document. Participants will see how to quickly get started with SafeAssign and review pedagogical considerations surrounding its use.

This learning opportunity is currently available as a 20-minute online presentation.

Topics include:

• accessing SafeAssign in WebVista
• submitting drafts or final papers for comparison to a database of sources
• interpreting reports which detail similarities to other works
