Web Development: Essentials - Cascading Style Sheets

This 3.5-hour course covers the skills needed to use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) effectively to control the presentation and layout of your web pages. Participants will learn best practices for applying CSS across multiple web pages and multiple media types to ensure versatility and consistently formatted content.

Topics include:

  • defining styles for web page layout
  • defining styles for content presentation
  • creating internal and external style sheets
  • using media types to manage multiple device delivery

Prerequisites

Knowledge equivalent to:

This course is taught on both the Macintosh and Windows platforms using plain text editors and Dreamweaver.

Fees

No fee. Registration required.
